Hello,

I'm interested in buying a 2005 FZ6. At what point should I be concerned about high mileage? I see a lot bikes that range from 5000-12000 miles on the clock. When do these things wear out. What should I be concerned about if I buy one? Are they better bikes than lets say the Suzuki GSF 650?

Yes much better than the gsf 650 in my opinon.

I have 19486 on my 07 model. Gosling has at least 50,000 on his 05 model. Not alot to worry about.

okay thanks...I haven't had bike in years so I appreciate the info. I just fear someone who didn't change their oil with lots of high revs...it would be my luck to end up with a bad one. So as long as there maintained well I should be ok if I buy one with over 10000

They go 5000 between changes.
