Color of pipes

I was cleaning my bike today .....just barely 600 miles on it and notices the pipes have a funny color ----kind of a hazy brown tint to them

is it anything to worry about????

It is going in for its first service this week but just wonderd what color your pipes are????

You'd have to spend a lot of time to keep them shiney...mine are colored....that tint will turn to color.

Its perfectly normal, It can be buffed out, but will return very qulckly. If the pipes get warm enough over a period of time they will go a slightly better (than brown) blue colour.

the pipes on these bikes unlike most are stainless steel and the heat from the motor turns the champagne/gold it normal fine wire wool and a good chrome polish will keep them looking shiny and eventually they will remain a nice gold colour

I use never-dull. works good but you cant let it build up then expect it to work. You have to stay on top of it.
