Are you sure? The engine block has not changed at all. The same filter fits the R6S as well if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Just for reference, the K&N filter I used on my 06 last time is model 303. What model of K&N do you use on 07+? I am now looking into new filters after reading some stuff on the net. A friend imports Champion stuff, so I need to find the model that fits my bike. If I find it out, I'll post it here. Last edited by GConn; 11-01-2008 at 12:46 AM.. |

Re: Oil filters that will fit
Hey, I was thinking about ordering some of the Purolator Pure One PL14610 oil filters from Amazon.com but how can I make sure that they will fit? I don't see anything that would get in it's way... This will be my first oil change so I want to be aware of any possible issues that I could run into before attempting it.

Re: Oil filters that will fit
The majority of oil filters on the original list posted are the part numbers for automotive filters that will also fit on alot of bikes. The K&N 204 being one of them. The K&N 303 is listed on the K&N website as being the bike specific filter for a FZ6.

Re: Oil filters that will fit
That's what I use. Let us know the color of the filters. Purolator switched to yellow recently. I got mine from Pep Boys... still blue on the shelf.

Re: Oil filters that will fit
the 303 and the 204 both have this thread size and pitch.
They will both fit.
