Hey all,

Just need a little help here, I'm snooping around website dealers, need to get me an upper cowling for my FZ6 04' model, had a bit of a crash and some plastic got chipped off, not very visible, but since I can see it, it hurts :P

So, what I'd like some help with, is the following..

5 BODY, FRONT UPPER 1 UR FOR S3
5VX-2835G-10-00 1 $118.96
5 BODY, FRONT UPPER 1 UR FOR DPBML
5VX-2835G-00-00 1 $101.32

I get those two results from the standard search engine when I'm looking at the cowling for the 04. Which one is the one i need? the damage is on the left side, where the wind screen mounts with the cowling.

I see 5VX-2835G-00-00 as being blue and 5VX-2835G-10-00 as silver. What color do ya need?

Well, mine is the silver one (silver tank and side fairings), though the part I need is black. Then again I might have messed up with the numbers..

Well I don't relly know what to say but maybe call a dealer and ask them. I went to Ron Ayers Motorsports - Motorcycle, ATV, Jet Ski and Generators Parts and Accessories and looked up the cowling and that was the part #'s for a '04 fz600 in silver and blue. Maybe some one here with a U.S. '04 silver will chime in and you may still get it black, Its just the # for a silver bike.

Well, that settles it then, I think the silver is the one I need, on top of that, there isn't any FZ6 04 with full silver plastics in the first place, so thats what they mean i guess.
