Headlight Compatibility

Does anyone know if the headlight assembly from the 04-06 model will fit in the 07-08 fairing? Just from looking at pictures I don't think it will but the people selling them on ebay are claiming that it does.

Re: Headlight Compatibility

i have never head of anyone trying, but from the looks of it the 07+ is a little bit thinner top to bottom, but might be an illusion.

I have however seen the R6 projector light conversion and would love to see a write up on that...

Re: Headlight Compatibility

Now that sounds like a more worth while experiment.....got any more details on it? I'm assuming it wasn't a straight fit and required some cutting of the plastic.

You're talking about this guy right?

Re: Headlight Compatibility

ah yeah, that's cool and all, but I think I'll just stick with the regular old headlight. Thanks for the idea though.
