both low and high beam lights don't work. I checked the bulbs, OK. All turn signals, tail lights, brake lights, horn all work fine. There's a small black box 1"x.75"x.75" which I think might be a turn signal relay part # FE246BH, but not sure. When I test the fuse it tests bad, but I put in a new one and it still tests bad even though it looks good. I've tried 5 fuses. Could the fuse box be bad?

If there's power to the fuse box, then there's two things to look at.

The first is the relay that keeps the headlights off until you start the bike. Most likely, it's stuck or broken. I'm not sure where it is and the manual doesn't provide any details. Probably it's under one of the side covers.

The second is the headlight switch itself.

I'm not getting any juice to the switch, so maybe it's the relay. Heading to store tomorrow to get replacement since I don't know how to test whether it's any good. ??

The second is the headlight switch itself. __________________ I don't know anything about motorcycles, but I just love little kittens. 1990 BMW K75 Turbo (Eternal project bike) 2007 Yamaha FZ6 (Modifications: Stebel Nautilus horn, Valentine 1 hardwired with remote display and audio, Mix-It sound mixer modified for hidden installation, Mayer saddle, true dual high/low headlights. Relay, fuse panel and lockdown blocks for all additional wiring.) Pocketchop. (There are no words to describe it.)
