Center Stand Removal

Q for anyone who has actually removed their centre stand :-

On the right side of the bike it looks like the center stand bracket holds a few other brackets. Do I need to keep all the bolts on that side mounted or can I just remove all the stuff over there?

The left side is straight forward since it's just two bolts.

Thanks!

Re: Center Stand Removal

I never removed mine but when I bought it the po had removed it and I reinstalled it. It seemed very easy as I remember and I do not wrench. In your case just remove a couple bolts and a spring and it comes right off. My only hiccup was putting the spring back on but as I said it should be pretty clear cut.

Re: Center Stand Removal

I would remove the stand and then put the bolts back anyway so that you know where they are if you ever want to put the stand back on.
