Scorpion Exhausts Problem

Hi guys,

I just bought a Scorpion exhaust for the 04 - 06 Fz6 thinking it would fit my 08 Fz6.

I tried fitting it this morning but the Decat pipe doesnt reach the bolt hole that secures the original pipe leading up from the Cat, and then I couldnt manage to get the cans to fit or point in the right direction or secure them using the scorpion brace thing. I also tried not using the Decat pipe, but the scorpion pipes wouldnt do up tight against the Cat pipe no matter how much i tightened the collar. Is it just me being a retard or do these really not fit my bike lol.

I got to work this morning as soon as the mail man delivered them, only to be mega dissapointed, and dirty!

I was under the impression the exhaust systems were identical to the 06 models?

Please someone give me an answer lol

Thanks so much

Ryan

Re: Scorpion Exhausts Problem

Hey Ryan,
Sorry I missed your initial post. How did you end up sorting out the issue? I would have suggested to get everything in place but loose before tightening anything down fully. Was this part of the solution process? Or did you have to change something out?
