It sounds like she really needs help. If she can post the pictures or what type of parts she ordered, someone should be able to help her.

Re: Single female need help with bike mtx
Raid has mounted a TCP lower fairing kit. I'm assuming you have the same one? You said NEW LOWER FAIRINGS...based on the picture I saw, you have an FZ6 S. You said the instructions were in French? That means you TOTALLY have a LOWER FAIRING TCP set.
Some of the mounting points are REALLY TIGHT. You might want to consider getting a competent individual to work the wrenches for you. Here are some brief instructions for mounting a lower-cowling. Here's goes: Here's some terminology: M6 : A screw, with a socket head, where the socket has 6 sides to make a hexagon. M6x23 : A screw, with a socket head, where the socket has 6 sides to make a hexagon. The screw is 23 mm long. M6x23 SEPERATOR : A screw, with a LONG socket head, where the socket has 6 sides to make a hexagon. The screw is 23 mm long. WASHER : A metal or plastic ring that a screw runs through. "A lifesaver for a screw." SUPPORT : A triangular black plate with a pole. These are used to support screws from different angles. M10x25 : A large BOLT that's 25 mm long. NUT : A hexagonal ring that winds on the threads of a BOLT. YOU WILL NEED AN "ALLEN" KEY-TOOL TO INSTALL THESE SCREWS. SOME OF THEM WILL NEED A RATCHET AND LONG ARM. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THESE TOOLS, STEAL THEM OFF SOMEBODY. PAY AN ELF TO DO THE JOB FOR YOU. OR A DWARF. READ EACH STEP VERY SLOWLY. THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE SPECIFIC. 1) RIGHT side of FZ6; radiator panel, lowest screw ---REMOVE 2) Mount M6x23 SEPERATOR in that place with a washer. 3) Repeat steps 1-2 on the LEFT side of FZ6. 4) RIGHT side of FZ6; radiator pipe-clamp, REMOVE original Mx10 screw. Add the BLACK SUPPORT with a M10x25 hexagonal BOLT. 5) LEFT side of FZ6; open hole near large round case (yes...there is an open hole, which is a mounting point for fairings), add the 2nd BLACK SUPPORT with a M10x30 hexagonal BOLT, 2 WASHERS and a NUT. 6) RIGHT side of FZ6; center stand bolt (rightmost one), REMOVE original M10 BOLT. Add a SMALL SUPPORT with the original M10 BOLT. (This bolt may be VERY HARD to remove). 7) LEFT side of FZ6; kickstand switch, REMOVE original screws and apply SMALL SUPPORT with two M5x25 screws and NUTS. Use the original NUTS if your kit didn't come with them. 8) The rest is easy. Since you have all the MOUNTING POINTS ready, you can simply apply the LOWER COWLINGS. You may need to adjust previous SUPPORTS to align the screws properly. Do not overtighten anything until you are absolutely sure each screw is in the right place.

Re: Single female need help with bike mtx
![]() Hello everyone, thanks for viewing my request. I am new to this forum and haven't really figured out how it works yet. That's why I posted the question on 2 threads? I uploaded my pictures last night. I don't know why you can't see them. I guess I need to figure out how to use this forum. I am not a spammer, I design software for a living so that's not something I'd ever do. This message box will not allow me to copy and paste my pics. ![]()
