You get something that fits (19mm), you loosen the pinch bolt, then you turn the axle....

there is a pinch bolt on the right fork leg that locks the axle, it takes an allen wrench. remove the pinch bolt. I pull one caliper off for clearance, than remove the axle. the axle takes a 19mm allen wrench. if you don't have the correct size allen or don't want to buy it you can use a 1/2" bolt double nutted as a makeshift allen wrench.
