How do you remove the front axle from an 04 FZ6?

You get something that fits (19mm), you loosen the pinch bolt, then you turn the axle....

You'll also have to remove one brake caliper from the fork but that's not hard either.

there is a pinch bolt on the right fork leg that locks the axle, it takes an allen wrench. remove the pinch bolt. I pull one caliper off for clearance, than remove the axle. the axle takes a 19mm allen wrench. if you don't have the correct size allen or don't want to buy it you can use a 1/2" bolt double nutted as a makeshift allen wrench.
