Well I was over introducing myself in the newb forum and someone said they have not seen the new 08 cobalt blue fz6 that i am now a proud owner of so i figured that if one hadn't seen it, many might not of....
so without further adue(sp)...

and now we can stop all the arguing over the fastest color because the cobalt comes from the fz1 so we all now know that COBALT is the fastest!

I can;t really tell from those pictures but is it the same blue as the 07's? If so then you are correct it is the fastest

No it's not the same blue as the '07... It's Galaxy blue (or Cobalt blue) identical to my '05 FJR1300. The pictures of the '08 FZ6s are all over the internet for the last few months, where have you been?... nothing new, just paint.

and over the headlights is different..looks to be black instead of the cobalt blue that the rest of the bike is painted!!

That colour is very very nice! much nicer than the 07 and earlier years...no offence to those with a blue bike...I just like these deep and mysterious blue colours!

O and red is the new blue...if you hadn't already figured that one out!! :P

there is an unpainted plastic area around the headlights but i dont know how different it is from the 07's. and Canadian, the bike in person is worth a thousand pictures as you know owning a bike of the same color. It has a real nice flake to it that really can only be seen in the sun.

Yeah, it's nice... saw the '08s at the Toronto bike show 2 weeks ago. I still like my '07 FZ6 Yamaha blue better

. My galaxy blue FJR is not bad as well.

No problem.... now keep it shiny and ride safe. Be thankful you have the weather. Winter has put a stop to the riding season until late March here in Canada
