About to go pick up my 06 FZ6....

Hello everyone. I'm Brian, I live in Knoxville, TN and I'm just learning to ride....actually took a riding course here in Knoxville last weekend and really enjoyed it. I also just bought my first bike....a blue '06 FZ6 and I leave here in about 20mins to go pick it up. I'm pumped and can't wait to get it home. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Hey welcome.
A big group of us will be over near you at the end of may. Maybe you could come and hang out and meet everybody too.

Re: About to go pick up my 06 FZ6....

Thanks everyone. I'm actually having a buddy of mine, an experienced rider take it home for me since I live about 30mins away from the place I bought it. I'll stick to driving around the neighborhood for awhile until I feel more comfortable. I think the first thing I'm going to get is frame sliders. I have no idea where to get them or what to get.........

Well, I'm heading out......going to go get it

Re: About to go pick up my 06 FZ6....

Most dealers carry frame sliders and will install them for you. Otherwise I would recommend kneedraggers.com for starters. Tons of stuff on that site and you can sort by whats available for your bike, once you know what's available check out ebay and other sites too, shop around for a good deal.
