19 Bike Covered Bridge Tour

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share a few pics from my ride today. It was based around covered bridges in PA, 9 to be exact. I put a total of 247 miles on this one, and it was a blast.

Pic 1 is the meeting spot. Dunkin donuts for some breakfast!
Pic 2 is a pitstop on a back road.
Pic 3 is the FZ with the first Covered Bridge in the background.
Pic 4 is everyone squeezing into the parking lot of a BBQ place for lunch. You should have seen their faces when we pulled in!

Re: 19 Bike Covered Bridge Tour

Hey Ant,
That looks like a nice ride. I used to work in NJ, but I don't remember it being that nice, but that may be because I worked in the Edison area. I don't usually ride with a group, but hopefully this forum can change that (I'm talking to you southern NH guys/gals especially)

Re: 19 Bike Covered Bridge Tour

This ride was based around covered bridges in PA. While NJ has its nice areas, it doesn't compare to the PA countryside.

I actually joined a VStrom discussion board because they were local. They seem to be the only group in the area that actually rides regurarly. They welcomed me with open arms, so I join them on their rides.

Here is a map of the ride. I'm not sure why it coming up so poor quality though.

My bike was unique to the group. Scroll down about half way to see the award my bike won.

One of the Stroms had Two Brothers, but is was no where near as sexy sounding as the FZ. When we stoped I would always ask the guy behind me if the sound was bothering him. The universal responce was "No, I like it". One guy said it made the ride easire. He knew when it was time to get on it, just by listening to my bike!
