Just gettin started...
I am new to the Yamaha family... was riding an SV 650 and wanted a Yamaha so I bought a 2006 FZ6. I have yet to install the handlebar risers, touring windscreen, and lower fairing I just ordered. We all know it's a great bike on its own, but there is so much I want to customize. I could easily keep spending $$ on mods for a while.

Re: Just gettin started...
![]() Welcome! Question: Why the handlebar risers? and the Touring Screen? Feel like taking her out sailing eh?

Re: Just gettin started...
Welcome to the site! I also moved from an SV650S to the FZ6 (although I haven't had the heart to actually sell the SV yet - I'm looking for a good home for it...)
