at long last, a yamaha in my driveway St Louis area MO
so after a year of wanting, last night i brought home my own fz6.
Well, the days of the Buell Blast are behind me as i sold it about ten days ago. Yesterday my wife, her brother and his fiancè and I took a road trip to pick up a 2006 Yamaha FZ6 I found on craigslist. A few dollars later it is mine! I am so excited! Not only is it 3 times as powerful while getting similar fuel economy as i was getting on the blast, but it is comfortable! I rode all 310 miles home and only paused when the cold forced me to do so. I am neither sore nor stiff today either! Thank God I didn't hit rain with as cold as it was. The bike only has 3800 miles on it and is totally stock (a plus!). Did you buy that bike from Eric near KC? If so, i almost bought that bike a couple weeks ago, but found another red FZ6 near Tulsa that i bought instead.

sure did! we had a LONG day! left festus at 11:00am and got home at midnight! i am super pumped i just wish it would warm up! today's high is 58!

I use my fz6 as a commuter for my 60 mile round trip to work...and i underdressed a little this morning. should have worn my heavier gloves. the bank thermometer said 45 degrees this morning.
