Saturday Ride
Treated myself to a ride for Father's Day. A whole morning of no thesis, no family, just me and my bike (and my friend Yves on his VFR). For those familiar, we took highway 9 from Saratoga and highway 17 back. After that, we split up and I headed to South San Jose/North Morgan Hill for some more fun twisties by the Pratt Whitney plant. Not too many photos but you can get the idea.
Yves trying to get closer to the FZ6 ![]() Nice views from a lookout ![]() ![]() ![]() Make sure the FZ6 is always in the foreground... ![]() Yves can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning. ![]() Stopped in Santa Cruz and had some Bad Ass coffee ![]() This was a fun mellow ride. Weather was beautiful and highway 9 is very well maintained. Will do this again but with more challenging side roads off of 9...

Re: Saturday Ride
Great pics. Sounds like a fun day. Just can't find scenery like that here in Delaware
I guess the trade off is no big fires, mud slides, earthquakes or sales tax.

Re: Saturday Ride
No problem. Hey how do you rate the Hero now that you've used it more? It would be nice (eventually) to augment my posts with some video like you do.

If you're looking for something small and practical, the Hero will do the job, but if you want top quality, then I would recommend you go with a bullet cam linked to an actual camcorder, and a remote microphone device. Else you always have the option to use a tank cam (mini dv recommended) with a cheap tank bracket from ebay. /threadjack
