I just bought a 2005 fz picked it up on saturday and absolutly love it. cant get enough of riding it. Its all stock except the puig racing screen and i paid $4500 for it.

kk dude nice , any fazer worth it man . did u try the 2007 fz6 model there is a differance to be noticed . I tried the 2004 and 2006 on a test ride b 4, i then purchased the 2007 only because Yam did a 0% finance over 2.5 years and i knew nothing about motorbikes , so was reasuring my self by having a brand spanker , best thing i ever did . If u no any 1 who has 1 locally ask if u can try it and see if i am an muppet or if i am right in saying what i just have . let me no

Nice man! I just got mine less than 500 miles ago too! How many miles are on your bike? You thinking about getting any aftermarket mods?

there's about 10,300 miles on the bike about 80 i've put on it. as far as mods there's a long list i want to add. Got gel hand grips but didn't put them on yet due to a lake of metric tools around the house and the kit not being with the bike when i bought it. I'll post pics as i upgrade.

If I remember right, it's an 8mm hex key to remove the bar ends.

I also recently bought a 2005 FZ6 and installed gel grips.

I was originally going to buy an 08 from the dealer but couldn't afford it. Apparently the insurence on a 600cc bike for an 18 or 19 year old is twice the price of the bike payment so I had to go old and used, a three year difference cuts the price in half. Don't know anyone local that own's an 07.
