Mstewar1 Interview
Got the focus on...mstewar1
What do you do for a living? Software interaction design -- I make applications make sense for the user. How long have you owned your FZ6? I bought my '06 in Feb. of '07. What other modes of transport do you have? 8-1/2 bicycles (there's a unicycle in there...) and a Honda Element. If you could have any bike what would it be? Triumph Speed Triple, Gold Wing, or a cherry RD400 What are your hobbies apart from the bike? Cycling-- as a rider and a coach, martial arts -- student and teacher (yongmudo -- I began studying when it was known as hapkido many years ago), photography -- a quasi-trained hack. What is the best place you have visited on your travels and why? Mexico City, Mexico. Massive, diverse, teeming with life. I was taught, while there, to make a thing of ten things to do for any given day and to be happy to get one of them done. Describe yourself in three words? Private, respectful, irreverent If you could redesign any household (including garage) appliance what would it be and why? Pretty sad, for someone who calls himself a designer, but I got nothin'... Maybe universal remotes... Which invention in history would you most like to have come up with? The written word. If you ruled the world, what is the first thing you would outlaw? -ism's of any kind. If you were forced to entertain us all at the Forum Christmas party - what would your talent be? Kitten juggling. Kidding, i'm a talentless hack. Though if you got three beers in me I'd probably hog a karaoke machine... Snow or beach? Beach. Windows or Mac? Either. F1 or MotoGP? Motogp. Which track or album rocks your boat? Son Volt -- Driving the view What is your favourite film? Dead Man with Johnny Depp Meat or Veg? If we weren't supposed to eat animals they wouldn't be made out of meat. What is your favourite beverage? Rootbeer And finally, your number one rule in life? You get what you give.

Re: Mstewar1 Interview
Tell us about the unicycle! I've always wanted to learn to ride one of them things, but at my age I'd probably kill myself. How long did it take you to learn? When did you learn?

Re: Mstewar1 Interview
Still learning, still struggling. It's actually an off-road unicycle. I'm no where near being able to do that! Yes, there are people who ride unicycles on mountain trails. It's kinda sick.
It's an incredibly good balance exercise. I can't recommend it for everyone because you will fall on your a$$ at some point, guaranteed. I look like I'm ready to go race downhill when I get on the thing: padded shorts, elbow guards, helmet. Ibuprofen is my friend...I've got bottles stashed everywhere like some kinda junkie.

Good interview. I especially like the bit about what you learned in Mexico. Cool.
