Ok, after 4 rounds of the AMA superbikes....Australia's Mat Mladlin seems to be reaping the benefits of Ben Spies going to WSBK....he has won every race this season, so far! Here's the current points standings!

I've been following AMA Daytona Sportbike closely this year. Really silly NASCAR like rules, riders who hate each other, drama and some very good racing. That and Danny Eslick is having a hellva year, but everyone hates him because he is winning on a Buell. Buells suck, remember??? So logic says if Buell is winning they much be cheating and we hate cheaters! Nothing to do with a great bike and rider who has improved this year.

Oh the humanity!!!

Congrats to Mladin for taking the championship yesterday at VIR! I thought I heard that was his 7th one!

However, he couldnt do much for that new R1! That thing sounded soooooo good and quiet compared to the other I4's. It was amazing to watch that thing come out of turn 16 on the front "straight" with the front wheel off the ground and grabing gears. Woof.

I think we may be seeing the end of the GSXR reign in SBK. There wasnt a suzuki in the number one spot all weekend, lol.

I will try to get pictures up ASAP from this weekend. Unfortunity I havent got SP2 to load back in since I reformated...grr.
