No to the bike parking tax - Mega Demo around the M25 Saturday 19th Jun

There is another big no to bike parking tax demo taking place this saturday (19th)

More details here

I highly reccomend everyone to go! Even if you don't think it will affect you now, it's only a matter of time before this scheme goes nationwide!

Or just tag along becuase its a really good, and big, ride

Re: No to the bike parking tax - Mega Demo around the M25 Saturday 19th Jun

I remember a similar protest in Melbourne years ago.
The council wanted to stop multiple bikes parking in the one parking bay so that they all had to pay the same parking fee in the meter's.
So the MRA organized a protest ,starting at 6 am ,before everyone went to work in the city, they got all their members and supporters to park their bikes, one per spot ,in the CBD !
No cars could park anywhere .................the bylaw was dropped

Good luck with your efforts guys, would love to see it for myself .

Re: No to the bike parking tax - Mega Demo around the M25 Saturday 19th Jun

Hopefully see a few of you there! My brother just picked up a new orange F800GS so I'll probably be somewhere near that (unless he drops it....) Plus I've yet to see a fazer with Remus pipes in the UK so that will also be me....

It should be a big so it will probably turn out to be a pretty fun day!
